A Tanker laden with 33,009 litres of petrol, yesterday, overturned and spilt its content at Oremeji along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
An eyewitness said residents, including women and children, have capitalised on the ongoing fuel scarcity to scoop fuel without minding the attendant dangers.
According to the witness, the scooping of fuel continued unabated despite the presence of security operatives in the area.
A security officer attached to Oyo State Park service, Peluola Oyedeji, told The Guardian that the petrol in the fallen tanker is being trans-loaded to another tanker but the activities of the area boys was slowing down the operation.
